Knowing how much the arts have changed and impacted my life, I prioritize inspiring the next generation of artists and ensuring the arts remain vibrant in small communities and schools. Having a creative outlet offers numerous benefits, including enhancing brain function, fostering long-lasting relationships, and bringing together people from all walks of life.

Add the Arts was created with all of this in mind. It provides a space for individuals to freely express themselves and explore their creativity while stepping out of their comfort zones. Offering a variety of classes each month across different artistic disciplines, Add the Arts is dedicated to strengthening the skills of young artists, giving them opportunities to learn, grow, and create.
Class Disciplines
Improv Classes
AGES 12+
Students will learn the art of theatrical improv and explore the key elements involved in putting on an improv show. We’ll spend time practicing popular improv games that are not only fun but also help students think creatively and step outside the box! It’s sure to be an exciting and engaging experience for everyone involved.
Dance Classes
AGES 12+
In these beginner-level dance classes, students will explore body movement through simple dance techniques in the musical theater discipline. This course offers an opportunity to learn the basics of dance while also engaging with movement in a creative way, helping students discover how their bodies work and move. No prior dance experience is required—just a passion for dance, musical theater, and having fun!
Monologue Classes
AGES 12+
This class focuses on monologues and essential acting skills that will help you succeed in future auditions and theater work. For these sessions, please bring a monologue you enjoy and would like to work on. During class, we will explore effective techniques for breaking down and memorizing your monologue, while also developing acting strategies to ensure your performance is impactful and memorable in auditions.

Intro to Theater
AGES 6 -11
Designed for even the youngest artists, this beginner-level class provides a comprehensive introduction to the theater and teaches the fundamentals that every actor and artist needs to know. Covering topics such as theater terminology and the basic elements of storytelling, this course opens the door to a world of creative opportunities.
